No Respite for the Weary

Took my business trip. Everything at home went just fine, as I had anticipated. I know Skip was nervous before and during the trip, but everything worked out perfectly.

But the hoped-for respite didn't bear any fruit. I came home and felt the same burdens fall back on my shoulders within just a few minutes of my arrival and, most importantly, I didn't feel the 2-day absence from the house put me in any better position to bear them. It always sucks when hopes are dashed on the rocks of reality.

Cranky, that blows. Things will get better -- they always do.

You have an open invitation to bring Ruby to the Buda Wiener Dog Races in April. Looks like fun!

I have chosen to ignore reality - it is sort of working for me but not for KRP I think my latest adventures are driving her insane.

Seriously, I really don't know what to say - so I will go with I hope it gets better for you.

Steve - I've seen clips from the Weiner dog races, they are a hoot! I always thought Sally would be good in those since she was so fast (for a dachshund). Thanks!

Sherry - that's so nice!

Jan - it will get better. Just at a low point right now.
